Sewcial
A web and graphic design project, focusing on a concept that combines sewing and community.
Sewcial is a gathering space where people can connect, create, and foster a sense of belonging.
As part of the SEWCiAL team, I took on the responsibilities of Designer and Front End Developer.
Design
As a designer, I worked on the brand and website design. The design team finalised the face of the brand and established standardised style and sizing guidelines for both mobile and desktop platforms. These guidelines were subsequently utilised during the frontend development process, maintaining uniformity in typography, icons, and margins.

Final Artifact
Being a front end developer and designer for Sewcial was a rewarding blend of creativity and problem-solving. As a front end developer, I focused on building smooth and intuitive interfaces, ensuring everything worked seamlessly. On the design side, I created an inviting, easy-to-navigate interface that encouraged community interaction. It was all about balancing functionality with aesthetics to create a platform where users felt inspired and connected. Working with a passionate team made it even more enjoyable, as we all shared the goal of building a creative space for sewing enthusiasts.
